Brian Leon is Chief Executive Officer of Choice Hotels Canada. With over 360 hotels across the country, Choice Hotels is one of Canada’s largest hotel chains and franchisors.

Prior to joining Choice in 2007, Brian had an extensive background in the hospitality industry, most recently in leadership roles in foodservice franchise organizations. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. Brian is a member of the Board of Directors of Green Key Global. He served as a Board member for the Hotel Association of Canada from 2014 to 2025, including as Treasurer and a member of Executive Committee. Brian is the former Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Franchise Association and former Chair of the Board of Directors of Canadian Feed the Children.
