My mission is to harness the power of technology and collaboration to make it easy for all Canadian children to have easy access to wholesome food at school, regardless of means .

Ruthie Burd is a wife, a mom and a friend and for the last 30 years has also been the woman behind the Lunch Lady, Canada’s largest provider of individually prepared hot meals for kids in elementary schools. This award-winning service has grown through franchising and today the Lunch Lady is available in 4 provinces and expanding her service offering. The company is thrilled that the National School Food Program is finally here and the whole team is ready to contribute their knowledge, love of tech and passion for feeding kids to make it easy for all children to have access to the same wholesome meals.
