Ryan Shorten joined Metal Supermarkets as Director, Franchise Services and Operations in 2019, promoted to Vice President in 2023 and is part of the Senior Executive team. As Vice President, his focus is on continuing the North American growth of the Metal Supermarkets network and on building franchise profitability. Ryan has extensive franchise operations experience including seven years as Director of Operations with Cora Franchise Group (67 locations) and, prior to joining Metal Supermarkets, seven years as Director of Operations with Pizza Nova (140 locations). Ryan's background includes extensive marketing knowledge, project management and learning and development and he holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Ryerson (Toronto Metropolitan) University.
