John started his career in franchising in the early 1980’s and has been associated with the start-up and successful roll out of many well-known brands in Canada, United States and Internationally. He has been instrumental in recruiting and awarding over 1,000 franchises. John is currently President, CEO and a Principal in Herity Capital Corporation a Toronto based franchise management company that that specializes in the development of service-based franchise brands in both B2B and B2C environments. HCC’s most recent franchise development initiatives include Koala Insulation®, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, PROSHRED® Security and Mini-Tankers®. John is extremely well versed in Master Franchising. He has a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and B. Comm and MBA degrees from the University of Windsor. John is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Franchise Association.
