David Barron has over 12 years of experience in franchising, first as a Franchisee with CertaPro Painters and now leading their franchisee resale program. A graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University, he began his career in growth-focused tech companies. In 2011, he successfully launched the Ottawa CertaPro Painters franchise from startup and later achieved a successful resale in 2018. In 2020, David returned to CertaPro on the corporate side to develop the Resale Program, enhancing the franchisee experience, ensuring smooth ownership transitions, and driving growth for the brand.

He firmly believes that new owners bring fresh energy and increased sales. Based in Ottawa, David enjoys biking and Nordic skiing with his family.
