Sean Black will share his personal story of success, and what he has learned along the way of being founder of a variety of food brands and managing successful exits and sales to strategic buyers. He is currently CEO, Chairman and Co-founder of the Happy Belly Food Group which owns, operates and franchises 10 Canadian food brands.  Prior that he was co-founder of Extreme Brandz, the operator of Extreme Pita, Mucho Burrito, and Purblendz. He grew that company to over 340 franchised restaurants across North America until selling to MTY Food Group in 2013.  Later he co‑founded Crave It Restaurant Group, operator of The Burger’s Priest and Fresh Plant‑Powered Restaurants, and in 2021, he achieved a second successful exit when the company was sold to Recipe Unlimited.
