Lubo Zizakovic

Lubo leads M&A Advisory at StratonHunter Group, a firm active in the food and franchise sectors whose past transactions include the $50 million sale of St. Louis Bar & Grill. He is currently advising on franchise transactions.
Throughout his career, Lubo bought and sold 37 companies in transactions totaling more than $1.1 billion. He worked on both sides of the table. As co-founder of Barrier Ridge Capital, a private equity firm that invested its own capital, he acquired and exited 20 companies. He also structured three limited partnerships totaling approximately $250 million. He began his career in investment banking at Scotia Capital and HSBC Securities (Canada).
A two-sport athlete at the University of Maryland, Lubo went on to play professional football for the NFL's New York Giants and several CFL teams, including the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He holds an MBA from the University of Miami. He works with Special Olympics athletes coaching basketball.
