Austin Black is a Director in the Consumer Investment Banking Group, where
he is primarily focused on building relationships and advising clients in the
franchising and multi-unit services sector. Austin has experience executing
sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, public and private offerings of debt
and equity, and other strategic advisory assignments. He has worked with
leading public and private, founder- and sponsor-owned businesses across the
Consumer industry. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson in 2017, Austin started his
career at Wunderlich Securities in their Consumer & Business Services
Investment Banking Group. Austin holds a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University
and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from the University of
San Diego
