Marrie Shirzada is an Associate at KMB Law and a member of the firm’s Corporate Commercial and Franchise Group.

Marrie’s franchise practice focuses on advising franchisors across the lifecycle of the franchise relationship, including franchise development, disclosure compliance, franchise agreements, franchise resales, corporate structuring, system compliance, and franchise disputes. Her practice includes preparing and reviewing franchise disclosure documents and related agreements, advising on franchise development and transactional matters, and assisting clients with rescission claims, defaults, terminations, and other disputes arising from the franchise relationship.

Drawing on both her transactional and dispute experience, Marrie provides practical guidance on how franchise development practices, candidate communications, financial representations, and documentation processes can create or mitigate legal risk. She works closely with franchisors and growing franchise systems to develop commercially workable solutions, strengthen compliance practices, and manage risk.
