Daniel Hamson is an associate at Sotos LLP. He maintains a commercial litigation practice with a particular focus on the franchising, licensing and distribution industry. Daniel approaches each mandate pragmatically and seeks to find business-oriented solutions to meet his clients’ particular needs. As an advocate, Daniel has extensive experience representing clients in negotiations, alternative dispute forums and before the courts. In that latter regard, Daniel has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to maintaining his legal practice, Daniel has recently started an LLM program. Daniel’s studies will focus generally on issues at the intersection of franchise and intellectual property law.
