Redberry is owned and backed by Uncommon Equity, a boutique PE firm out of Chicago and makes Redberry one of the largest privately owned and PE funded restaurant company in Canada – a great example of Franchising meeting the money. Redberry continues to seek out other Brand partners to grow and believes it's thesis to provide sophisticated capital and leadership can help Brands accelerate growth. Prior to joining Redberry, he worked with several iconic QSR and franchise restaurants (including Boston Pizza, Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s, Montana’s and East Side Mario’s), which provided him with unique insight into what it takes to prosper in the vast Canadian landscape. Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph.
