Michael is the founder and Managing Director of MSA Worldwide. Founded in 1987, MSA is recognized for its strategic and tactical services with clients that range from emerging franchisors to many of the most recognized brands in franchising. MSA’s professional services include, but are not limited to, advising on the design, development, implementation, refinement, expansion and management of franchise systems as well as tactical services including manuals and training programs.

MSA has been acknowledged by the International Franchise Association as “the leading strategic and tactical advisory firm in franchising.” Michael serves on the board of the IFA and is the principal author of the IFA’s Statement of Guiding Principles. Michael has written and contributed to several books and other publications in the areas of franchising that are both legal and commercial in nature ad is an Adjunct Professor teaching a graduate course on franchising at The Ohio State University.
