He continued his athletic career until 2002, a pivotal year that led him to open a new chapter in his life as a businessman and philanthropist. He created Sprint Management Inc. to develop business partnerships and mentor the business community, and the Bruny Surin Foundation to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for young people to improve their physical and mental health. He is now a president and chief executive officer of his own group of companies, including Sprint Management, and now uses what he learned to maintain a stable of more than 20 athletes.
