Jamil started working in the restaurant industry at the age of 12 delivering flyers for a pizza restaurant and has been in the industry ever since then. He founded Burgers n’ Fries Forever (BFF) in Ottawa during the summer of 2013, BFF has grown to 2 locations throughout Ontario with further goals to franchise. BFF has been featured on Food Network's You Gotta Eat Here, Huffington Post Canada, Thrillist, Culture Trip, Big 7 Travel and other publications. A couple years after founding BFF, he and his wife started Yellow Beauty, a turmeric skincare brand that gives back to help end child marriage. Yellow Beauty has been featured in various publications including Cosmopolitan, Byrdie, GQ, Brit+Co, Allure, Bustle, Girlboss, and MIC. He recently founded Small Fry Studio - a fractional CMO and restaurant digital marketing consulting firm.
