Ben writes frequently about franchise disputes and commercial arbitration. He has served as founding chair of the Joint Subcommittee of Franchising of OBA (predecessor to the Franchise Law Section), taught civil litigation at the Law Society of Ontario, chaired and presented at numerous continuing legal education programs, and served on many Bar committees and executives. He is member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, ADR Institute of Canada, and Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society.
