Sue has been the CFA Franchise Ombudsman since 2004, providing support for franchisors and franchisees. She has started in the Ombudsman for workplaces in 1994 with Bell Canada and as a consulting Ombudsman in 2001 for Air Canada.
As President of AWR Inc. she works with clients to develop transformative and sustainable solutions to professional relationship challenges, conflicts; franchise issues, business to business disputes, specializing in franchise relationships, discrimination and harassment; disability management and psychological & mental health.
Sue has successfully worked with thousands of clients and is recognized as the go-to-person for diffusing volatile and seemingly impossible franchise, business and workplace conflicts. She is a leader in developing and sustaining more conscious professional relationships and organizations.
Sue is a member of the: The International Ombudsman Association (IOA); ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC), ADR Institute of Ontario (ADRIO) and volunteers her time and expertise for a non-profit organization.
Sue has a degree from York University, a diploma in Business Administration from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. She has a Certificate for Mediating in a Workplace when a Party has a Psychiatric Disability from the City University of New York and Certificates of Mediation (3 levels) from University of Windsor’s Law Program.
