Ghost kitchens are one of the hottest trends in foodservice. Ghost kitchens offer the opportunity to expand quickly and reach new customers, very often with lower up-front capital expenditures.

Drawing from success stories in the marketplace, this session will explain the various models of ghost kitchen found in the marketplace today. We will examine what  makes ghost kitchens an effective model for franchisors to scale their concept and reach new customers. We will identify that questions that a franchisor should consider to determine which ghost kitchen model is right for them and will discuss the legal issues and franchisee-relationship considerations that franchisors should be aware of.
