Ok… let’s get real here! Generation X, Millennials, Baby Boomers: Everyone is always wondering what all of these different generational titles mean. And now we’ve got another one to add to the mix - Gen Z. While Millennials are generally recognized as those born in the late 1980s, Generation Z represents the next generation of prospective franchisees! Generation Z, also referred to as “zoomers” or “Gen-Z” proceed Millennials as those born in the mid-to-late 1990s. Generation Z will impact the way businesses are built, run, and what drives their purpose and if you are looking to inject some young blood into your franchise system, it’s likely you will award a franchise to a member of this new generation of unique minds.

This session will take an in-depth look at this progressive generation; their consumer behaviors, values, and outlooks, to give franchised businesses direction on how to attract this group to their brand and successfully bring them on board their franchise development teams.

This session will also examine the transformational change Gen Z will have on how franchising is done in Canada, the U.S., and worldwide. So buckle your seatbelts and get ready for an intergenerational journey into the world of a group that would rather not be labelled.
