Mr Ken Otto
Ken is the CEO at Redberry Restaurants. Redberry is the Franchisee of 100+ Burger Kings and 20+ Pizza Huts in Canada. Ken joined Redberry in 2019 and is eager to help the dynamic team achieve it’s mission to become the fastest growing and “go to” Franchisee partner for a select group of high growth QSR Franchisors in Canada. Exciting days ahead! Ken has a successful track record of developing strong brands in Canada leveraging his 30 plus years experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Redberry, Ken led some of Canada’s largest restaurant Brands as President of Recipe’s Family Dining Division and Recipe’s Chief Development Officer. Before Recipe, he was COO for Boston Pizza International, and was a consultant to Canada’s hospitality industry with Price Waterhouse and Panel Kerr Forster. Ken kicked off his life-long hospitality career with a B. Comm in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph. Having been known to say, “Make it Happen”, Ken feels incredible lucky to have worked for and along side some of Canada’s restaurant iconic leaders. As a Board Member with the CFA and other advisory groups in Canada, the Franchise and restaurant industry fuels Ken’ passion to learn, mentor and provide people with amazing opportunities. Supporting Ken’s journey is his wife Julie and two amazing sons. Ken has lived in Calgary (twice), Vancouver and now resides in Toronto. When not “making it happen” at work, find Ken on the water, ski hill or bike. Maybe a golf course when people don’t count the score.
