Zach Zittell is an associate in the Business Law Group and Franchise Law Group at Cassels. Zach maintains a broad practice, working with a diverse group of franchise and distribution companies to assist with legal and regulatory issues, contractual drafting, intellectual property, and compliance with Canadian franchise disclosure legislation. Zach also advises clients on general commercial matters and, more specifically, on the legal and regulatory landscape of “Web 3.0” and other emerging technologies. Zach completed the joint J.D./H.B.A. degree from the Faculty of Law and the Ivey Business School at Western University and enjoys leveraging his business experience as an entrepreneur while approaching his clients’ legal challenges. Before law, Zach was a “camp kid”, having spent over 10 summers as a camper, staff member and eventually an assistant director of an overnight summer camp in Nova Scotia.
