Franchisors are increasingly turning to existing franchisees to open more outlets in order to sustain network growth, while franchisees are often eager for the opportunity to add more outlets to their existing successful business.
However, just because a franchisee has proven themselves to be successful in one outlet, doesn’t guarantee they will be successful in a second or subsequent outlet.
Additionally, as franchisees grow their own chain of outlets, the nature of the support they require, and their expectations of the franchisor, change substantially over time.
This workshop explores the advantages and challenges to both franchisors and franchisees of multi-unit franchising.
