Iain has more than 15 years of experience advising public and private companies, and private equity funds on M&A and fundraising transactions. Iain has advised clients across a wide range of sectors and industries including Niche Manufacturing (equipment, consumer goods, building materials), Business Services (healthcare, equipment rental, managed clothing) and Specialist Distribution (grocery, fuel, industrial products). Iain also brings significant cross border M&A experience.
Prior to joining CIBC, Iain worked for 4 years with the corporate finance group of an international professional services firm in Toronto. His has also held investment banking and corporate development roles residing in Ireland, the United States and the Netherlands. Iain holds a B. Sc. (Management) from Trinity College, Dublin and an MBA (First Class Hons.) from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin.
