Noah Leszcz is an associate in the Business and Franchise Law Groups at Cassels. Noah practices business law, with a focus on franchising, licensing, distribution, emerging companies, and intellectual property. He works with a diverse group of franchise and distribution companies, assisting with legal and regulatory issues, contractual drafting, intellectual property, and compliance with Canadian franchise disclosure legislation. Noah also represents emerging companies and works with these clients on incorporation, organization and financing, shareholder agreements, employee stock option plans, and a variety of other commercial agreements. Noah graduated from the J.D. program at Queen’s University. In his final year at Queen’s, Noah was elected as the Graduating Class Speaker by his peers and delivered the student address at convocation. He was also awarded the Dennis Marshal Contribution Award. Noah graduated with Distinction from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Noah also graduated on the Dean’s Honour List at McGill. During his undergraduate degree, he founded and managed a successful event promotion company. In addition, he was a member of the McGill varsity baseball team, winning two National Championships. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Noah worked as both a summer student and an articling student at the firm.
