COVID-19 POLICY & PROTOCOLS

The CFA National Convention will be adhering to all the COVID policies and requirements as outlined by the Government of Ontario and the City of Ottawa.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

COVID-19 remains a worldwide pandemic and a threat to our local health and safety.

All event attendees (Exhibitors, Speakers, Sponsors and Attendees) acknowledge that in spite of all preventative measures that are put in place by the venue and the event hosts, there is still an inherent risk of exposure to illness that exists in any public place where people are present.

All event attendees (Exhibitors, Speakers, Sponsors and Attendees) voluntarily assume such risk for attendance at any CFA event (e.g. CFA National Convention / Franchise Canada Shows, etc.)

VACCINE REQUIREMENTS

All delegates are required to provide proof of vaccination, or a medical exemption signed by a medical professional licensed to practice medicine in Canada, upon their arrival at the event. Failure to do so will result in the delegate not being admitted to the event and no refunds will be issued.

Currently, proof of vaccination requires minimum of two vaccinations (Please note: this requirement may be increased by the Government of Ontario or the City of Ottawa prior to the start of the CFA Convention in April 2022).

  • Maintain their shape after washing and drying.
  • Be made of at least two layers of tightly woven material (such as cotton or linen); and
