Dear CFA Members,

We are very grateful and excited to be writing to you as this year’s Canadian Franchise Association Law Day Co-Chairs!

This year’s theme is Powered by Purpose with a focus on the resilience and strength of the franchising community. We are operating in terms of uncertainty and change – whether it be political, economical, social or technological – each has its own unique impact on franchising industry.

Fueled by togetherness and our broader community, franchising has succeeded and thrived in similar times before and will continue to do so. Our focus for this year is to celebrate our community’s past, and for us to continue to look forward and share ideas, strategies and tools for the future (and yes, we will talk about case law too!).

Along with the help of the Law Day Committee and CFA team, we believe that we have developed an excellent program – featuring speakers who are some of the top franchising professionals in a diverse range of industries, with a strong mix of lawyers and other franchising leaders and executives. .

We think this balanced approach will provide for an interesting discussion and perspective and leave attendees feeling engaged, motivated and inspired!
